Having proper support and a real night's sleep can be life changing for a parent's mental health. Postpartum depression and anxiety are far more common than most people realize, and anxiety in particular affects a significant share of new mothers.

I've seen firsthand how challenging the first few weeks after birth can be for a new family, and I wanted to help beyond the hospital walls. At discharge, families would often ask if I could just come home with them — now, I can.

I'm a registered nurse with three years of Mother-Baby experience in Washington, D.C. I studied Biobehavioral Health at Penn State, then earned my nursing degree at the University of Pittsburgh, and have since relocated to Santa Barbara to offer overnight newborn care.

I've spent countless night shifts as a nursery nurse, caring for multiple newborns at once — supporting infants while mothers were on magnesium sulfate for preeclampsia or recovering from a postpartum hemorrhage, and caring for babies undergoing phototherapy for jaundice. I'm comfortable with bottle feeding, whether formula or pumped milk, or bringing baby to you to nurse, including triple feeding and cluster feeding. And yes, I consider myself a professional swaddler.

You don't have to do it all yourself. I'm here to help.
